Yolanda Sampson: 2013 Ford Focus ST

Yolanda Sampson has owned the 2013 Ford Focus ST since 2016. She bought it from a friend who owns a shop that customizes headlights and installs liquid wraps. Sampson's friend had already modified the ST before she bought it, so she just continued (the build) with her own personal touches. "I got this car because I had gotten into modifying my previous Mazda 3," expresses Sampson, "but I always wanted boost. So along came the ST."

Sampson has been a part of the Calgary, Alberta car community since 2013, "It's been fun and I've met many great friends and people because of cars." As a female, it has been interesting for Sampson to be part of a primarily male-dominated hobby/community, but she's enjoyed it. "I love the looks I get when people see me driving the ST."
