STORY
The G35 was a birthday present from my husband back in 2008 and was my grocery car but not for long. I immediately changed the wheel and tire set up to the Konig Afterburners with Nitto 555s to keep the car planted to road, this of course made my OEM Brembo brake system stand out against the slotted and drilled rotors. Yonaka fully adjustable coilovers were added to dial in the handling.

Next phase, I began to purchase pieces from different companies to make the exterior my own. I choose the carbon fiber front bumper by Carbon Creations and had my carbon fiber splitter done by Strictly Composites, I choose the Chargespeed side skirts and a Kenstyle rear bumper. I choose the Seibon Carbon hood to save some weight for what was going to reside underneath of it later.

I already loved my color so I decided to keep the same color which is PPG Grey Diamond Graphite and had a Purple Pearl clear coat to give the car the unique yet subtle look. I also already loved my interior so I made minimal changes to the interior by wrapping some pieces in carbon fiber vinyl while my husband designed my Sub enclosure and amp rack that houses three Memphis Power Reference 15-PR10S4 10-in. subwoofers powered by a Memphis NC16-MC2 classAB amp & all plays thru a Pioneer AVIC-D3. I also added a NRG Neo Chrome shift knob, Glow Shift gauges were added so I could stay on top of her vital signs of what I had my husband do next.

Saving the best for last, I decided to have my husband and a few trusted friends install the 5.7L Hemi V8, sourced from a 2010 Challenger. Seeing how I am no means a stock car kinda girl, I asked to have a few changes right away, starting with the 6.1 liter intake manifold, a F.A.S.T 92 mm throttle body mated up to a K&N intake and some HKS exhaust all run by an AEM stand alone system. Motor mounts were fabricated in house by my husband and all work was completed by myself, my husband, my 11 year old son and a handful of close friends.

Minimal outsourcing was done such as the custom driveshaft, headers, tuning and the one-off Hemi G badge - a gift from a close friend.

C. I grew up a Mopar girl from the age of two. I was in the garage with my grandpa all night helping him build cars many people dream of owning today. It seemed the only way to for me to go.
