Mike Cameron purchased a new 2016 Lexus IS 200t F-Sport in 2016 and decided he wanted to modify it as much as possible. "I started with performance parts and installed the Injen intake. Seeing how this car currently doesn't have any support here in the states, I started researching companies overseas for tuning and other modifications," stated Cameron. It was at that time he found TTI Motorsports and contacted them to discuss what he was looking for. "I purchased a charge pipe, down pipe, turbo muffler delete, and a Stage 1 transmission and ECU tune."Cameron also contacted ARK Performance and ordered an ARK Grip exhaust for the car. At this point he had all the bolt-ons and tuning available and put in on a dyno. "The car put out 247hp and 279wtq," mentions Cameron. Since then, he's upgraded the tune to TTI's Stage 2+ for better acceleration and performance.
Cameron's focus shifted from performance to aesthetics. "I contacted Nia Auto Designs and ordered their body kit that was paint-matched to my car." After fastening the body kit, BC Racing coilovers with euro-bag setup were installed with the Airlift 3p air management. To complete the look, a set of Vossen VPS305T forged wheels were then mounted.
Inside the car, Cameron has installed a 12-inch Sundown Audio subwoofer in a custom enclosure powered by a Sundown SAE 2000 Class D amplifier.
Cameron's Lexus IS 200t is not complete just yet, and plans for more parts and modifications are already under way.
