Donovan always had a knack for audio, DJ'ing since he was 10 years old. It all started with an old '87 Mitsubishi Mighty Max that he put two 15's in. Down the line, as he began college, his business was expanding and had bigger equipment so he needed something to haul it. He sold the truck and got a 1997 GMC Safari in 2006. Starting off with small upgrades like a new grille, HID's, and an in-dash TV, Donovan wanted to go bigger, but space limitation from his DJ equipment was the limiting factor. He soon bought a U-Haul for his equipment so he could turn the van into a true custom daily driver.

It started with a few 15's and some 6.5” components. Donovan went through a few different designs through those first few years, winning a few trophies, but then wanted to bring it to the next level and have a vehicle that was different in every way. He talked to Grizz at Soundstream and soon created a complete custom van from top to bottom. Every panel was custom fiberglass, the floor went from carpet to an Oak hardwood floor, and the headliner was custom orange and black suede. He designed a box to both sound good and have a car show look. He also wanted to incorporate Soundstream into the design leading him to build a spider web on the top of the box to go along with the Tarantula T5-15 subs. He then made full custom fiberglass front and rear doors and added pull out turntables in the rear with LED DJ lights that pop out the back. Last, he put on a 2005 Silverado front end with one piece headlights equipped with the latest Oracle Colorshift 2.0 LEDs. It gets nothing but compliments everywhere he goes and is a complete DJ mobile on wheels with lights, strobes, and Soundstream system for music.
