It started back in high school when William was reading every custom car magazine he could get his hands on. Walking home from school, he saw the older kids with wheels and loud exhausts on their cars. He wanted to build his own car, so one day a girl came in to his dad’s shop with a totaled Acura Integra - a perfect build for him to learn on. He was 16 and getting his license in a couple weeks, so he bought the car for $300 and started ripping it apart. His dad’s friend taught him how to replace both quarter panels, prep the car for paint, redo the suspension and complete a motor swap. Afterward he got an offer for the car he couldn’t resist and sold it. A week later he bought a Cobalt and wanted to mod it, so he competed in his first car show at Englishtown Raceway Park in NJ. After a couple years he started to bring home some serious hardware, beating who he considered to be the big dogs. Four years later, he wants to continue doing bigger and more challenging mods. He’s planning a wire tuck and shaved motor bay, along with a widebody in the next year or two.
