Justin Tenbroeck dared to be different with his 2008 Pontiac Wave. "You can drive down any city road, go to any car show or meet, or even look online and see modified Hondas, VWs, Scions, Minitrucks, etc," mentions Tenbroeck. His objective is to make an imprint in the automotive scene and show everyone that you can make any vehicle platform appealing to the masses. Many people that see his Wave for the first time ask, "what is that, man?". To Tenbroeck, he enjoys these moments; he spends a few minutes talking to the curious minds and informs them of the massive list of modifications. At the end of the conversations, many people have mentioned to Tenbroeck that it's the only one they've seen of its kind in Canada and USA.
