ABOUT TUNER BATTLEGROUNDS
Performance Auto & Sound Magazine (PASMAG) is proud to announce its partnership with Torque Modified for 2015 at the Garnett B. Rickard Arena in Bowmanville, ON, Canada on August 16th. 2015 marks the 3rd consecutive year for the Tuner Battlegrounds #TBGLIVE competition with Torque Modified and will allow participating (pre-registered) competitors to join a head-to-head challenge. Tuner Battlegrounds is a bracket-style tournament facilitated online by PASMAG at www.tunerbattlegrounds.com. A Tuner Battlegrounds #TBGLIVE competition will be added to Torque Modified as an award category, similar to a "People's Choice" award, and the winner will receive a feature in a print-edition of PASMAG. To compete in the Tuner Battlegrounds: #TBGLIVE Battle award category, Competitors (Tuners) MUST follow the following steps:
1. Register for Torque Modified at http://torquemodified.com.
2. Once Torque Modified has confirmed your registration for the event, register to compete in Tuner Battlegrounds at www.tunerbattlegrounds.com/register (2015 Torque Modified (Aug 16, 2015) to be selected in the "Event Affiliation" field).
If you have already registered for Tuner Battlegrounds and your vehicle has changed from last year, fill-out the registration form again and upload current photos. Deadline to compete in the Tuner Battlegrounds: #TBGLIVE Battle at Torque Modified is Sunday, August 9, 2015.
A Competitor Profile will be created for all Tuner Battlegrounds registered competitors and displayed on the Competitors Page. A select number of competitors will qualify based on the accuracy and efficiency of their submitted registration form, and be selected to enter the Battle Stages (elimination rounds). In the Battle Stages, Competitors will battle one another, one Stage after another. If you already have a competitor profile and would like to register for this #TBGLIVE Battle, go HERE.
HOW TO ADVANCE TO THE NEXT STAGE?
When the Battle Stages begin, Competitors must obtain votes at www.tunerbattlegrounds.com. Rather than PASMAG's internal staff acting as judges to select the winners, that responsibility will fall in the hands of the audience (the fans, show-goers and friends and family of the competitors). With a click of a button, the audience will be able to vote and choose their winners, one Stage after another. At the end of each Stage, the Competitor with the highest number of votes will advance to the next Stage.
FINAL STAGE: The Top 2 Competitors will battle against each other on-site at the event by gathering votes via text. Similar to previous stages, the competitors are encouraged to campaign for votes. A Text-to-Vote telephone number and Short Code will be assigned to the 2 Competitors to gather votes.

ARE VOTERS REWARDED?
Voters have the opportunity to win an assortment of items from PASMAG - event tickets, stickers, keychains, magazines, t-shirts, sponsorship opportunities with partners, and much more (to be announced). Winners will be randomly selected and announced on Instagram.
