Jeremy Dartnell purchased the 2013 Scion FR-S because of its historical and cultural past.

“The FR-S/BRZ/GT86 are rooted in the purest form of driver and enthusiast culture that has not been seen for many years,” says Dartnell. “With the cost of cars rising, and the affordability of a car or platform so astronomical, it’s difficult to find a platform that can be made so unique.”

That challenge didn’t seem to stop Dartnell, with installations that include a Garrett GTX3076R turbo, dyno tune by GoodSpeed Performance Lab and a driveline supported by Action Clutch Technology. 

“The 86 platform is simple, beautiful, technical and just plain fun.”
