Rob Silva went through hell and back to get his 1998 Honda Civic where it is today. The original hatchback he once had was passed down from his father, with whom he shares a garage and a passion for building cars. Unfortunately, that Civic was destroyed by a reckless driver who ran into him. Silva had a vision though, and that vision came back to life with the acquisition of another hatch. Many parts from the old car survived the crash and were transplanted. From there, it was a matter of finishing what they started. "Two and a half years in the making and thousands of hours have gone into this car," Silva tells us. "Years ago, I had that hot hatch spark in me. Today, I hope to spark it in someone new and welcome the product of their hard work into our car scene."
