Kyle Harty loved the second generation Lexus GS when it surfaced in the lots and eventually on the streets. At first, the GS was out of Harty's budget, but fast forward to his mid-twenties and we find Harty in his very own 1999 Lexus GS400. "I found this one in 2008 and started with basic mods," mentions Harty, "it's evolved over time into the current VIP-style build inspired by many of the 2GS OG builds." The fender work and paint were installed professionally but Harty's involvement in the build, including fabrication, is quite extensive. He also quite enjoys all the work. "I like seeing people's reactions when the spot the fiber-optic headliner. They haven't seen anything like it before and enjoy it!"
