Michael Vinall has always been a fan of lightweight FR-layout cars, and when it came time to buy a turbocharged car of his own, he set his sights on an S15 Silvia. With lots of aftermarket support and potential, he picked the platform because of its ability to modify freely. After a trip up to Melbourne to see a lightly modified example, he couldn't say no, and the rest is history.
