Michael Tao is the SoCal Europrojektz Director. This 2011 Volkswagen Golf TDI represents his 3rd show vehicle build (previous builds: Mercedes C300 Sport, BMW 745Li). Michael has always been known for working with a vehicle platform that hasn't been done before and after hitting the sedan platform twice already, he wanted to try his hands on a hot hatch.
Michael stayed true to his Euro background, and with all the GTI's out there, he was drawn to the torque monster and hypermilling potential of the Golf TDI. He asked his sponsors to see if there was any interest in this project build and after a year's worth of work, he was able to put together this Golf TDI for the 2012 show season.
