Chad Kugel stumbled upon his 1990 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R after a friend bought a 1990 Honda from the same dealership. As soon as Kugel laid eyes on the Pulsar, he knew he had to have it, and he bought it sight unseen before flying to Florida to pick it up one week later. The car had received a few modifications while in Japan before arriving, including a full roll cage. With intentions to make it unique while staying true to the car's heritage, Kugel started putting his own touches on it right away.
