Angel Valenzuela: 2016 Subaru WRX

Angel Valenzuela got involved in the car scene in 2013 because of Global Rallycross. Valenzuela was mesmerized by the cars and when he got to see them in person it brought his excitement to another level. In 2015 he bought a 2016 Subaru WRX at Subaru Pacific with absolutely no plans to mod it; the WRX was just supposed to be a nice looking daily driven vehicle. "I started modding my car when I saw a car that looked just like mine on Instagram, only it had been changed completely with aftermarket parts," mentions Valenzuela. From that point on, and whenever he had extra money, he would buy parts here and there. "I started posting my car (more) on Instagram, and after seeing everyone else's builds it inspired me to modify the WRX to the point it is at right now."

The guys from Team Boxer Squad, Nick from New Provisions Racing, Paul and his team from Yimi Sport Racing, Dave from Kormodiv and Khiem at Offset helped with the entire process of modifying Valenzuela's WRX. "I am very inspired by all the people around me going above and beyond to make their car stand out," states Valenzuela. Additionally, Jun from Jun Project has always inspired Valenzuela because of his Miku Racing livery.

"To see someone express themselves through their car is what it is all about," mentions Valenzuela, "and that's what I tried to do with my build!" The WRX is Valenzuela first project that he is very invested in. "I can definitely say thatit will definitely not be the last!"
