Michael Gorman: 2005 Scion xB

Michael Gorman bought the stock 2005 Scion xB in 2016. "It was a little abused from the previous owner," remembers Gorman, "but I had a vision with the platform and it's what you see today."

  This is Gorman's 3rd xB and 4th Scion since they were released back in 2004. "  I've always loved the originality of the box look and absolutely love to drive it," he states. The xB may not pack many horses under the hood, even with Gorman's 35-shot of dry nitrous. "I'm huge fan of being unique and standing out in the crowd."

Gorman appreciates the Japanese car culture, specifically bosozoku and the itasha style.   He modified the xB car and originally had the intentions of only having it itasha. Soon after he found himself adding a lot of things from the bosozoku movement, and ending up with what you see now - half itasha / half bosozoku. Every idea, from having an Arizona Iced Tea themed interior to the pink and teal combination on the exterior - was only thought of and built by Gorman.   "It gets mixed reactions but I wouldn't want it any other way," he mentions. "If I wanted to build a car that everyone accepted I could have easily done so, but that would be no fun and more importantly wouldn't be true to myself."

Love it or hate it,   Gorman's imagination drives his 2005 Scion xB.
