Xavier Gonzalez: 2017 Infiniti Q50RS

Xavier Gonzalez started working on cars when he was 16 years old. "I helped out at the shop where my uncle worked," remembers Gonzalez, "where I was able to learn about all types of cars, and worked with a few different mechanics that showed me different things." He grew up around a lot of Honda Civics and spent a lot of time modifying them.

Gonzalez currently works at Herb Chamber Infiniti and saw this 2017 Infiniti Q50RS come off the truck and wanted it. "I decided I wanted to buy it and do something with it," he mentions, "I just didn't know what yet." He put a lot of thought into it and decided he wanted to bag it and get a nice set of wheels for it. "I researched a lot of different wheel styles and tried to find a nice set of wheels with a unique color that nobody really had," mentions Gonzalez, "something would look good on the car."

All the work on the Q50 is done by Gonzalez and with the occasional help of some friends. Inspiration comes easy for him; Gonzalez loves to build cars.
