Jordan Cole had regarded the 1997 Subaru Impreza STI Type R as his dream car. One day, he got lucky, and found one for sale locally with a blown engine. He was considering selling the car to someone in the United States once it became import legal, but he ended up loving the car so much that he had to keep it and modify it for himself.
