Yury Côté's love for cars started when he was only a baby. "My dad use to take me in his Fiero t-top," he mentions, "and to calm down my crying he would drive around town." As he grew up Côté would watch his dad drag race in his 1981 Chevy Malibu with a good old 350 stroke 355 and a TH350. When it was time for him to find the good balance between a street car and going to the drag strip, Côté fell in love with the BMW e30 chassis. "It looks old school and classy," he states, "it's not common you would say that for drag racing but I was ready to take that challenge."
