Gabriel Escobar was gifted the 1987 Nissan 300ZX at his high school graduation from his parents. "My dad always had Chevys growing up," Escobar mentions, "all motor builds, low riders, clean daily driving, etc." Escobar was always interested in his dad's builds and always wanted to work on cars. In high school Escobar would see JDM cars and tuners, and he fell in love with them.
"I always wanted cars like the Mk3 Supra, Nissan S14 and R32 GT-R, and Mazda RX-7," Escobar expresses. As a results, his dad looked at cars for sale and asked if he liked certain ones. "I never thought anything of it," laughs Escobar.
Escobar always loved the body style of the 300ZX. "The pop up headlights, T-tops, and the hatch - it was unique and unlike," he mentions, "no one really knew what it was!" With the help of his dad, they both started to rebuild, restore and modify the 300ZX.
