Johnny Ngo had already experienced success in the automotive scene with his Toyota Celica, formally known as ‘Bumble Bee Celi,’ and was looking for something comparable when he stumbled upon the 2006 Lotus Elise. “The Lotus shares the same motor,’ he explains. “The Lotus is lighter, faster, and capable of taking corners even faster than the Celica.
He goes on to say, “Lotus' attention to performance, along with the beautiful factory lines of the car, makes it the perfect platform to build upon.”
Some plans for the future include a new paint job and custom roll cage.

FAVORITE MODIFICATION:
“It has to be the custom widebody. I spent each minute outside my 9-5 designing and hand building this body. I took 20 minute naps periodically and worked my way to the finish line. The peanut butter and jelly theme derived from trying to save time and money for this build, so the only thing I ate for 6 months was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.”
